Autumn's Veil (M12-164) is a green instant from Magic 2012 that protects your spells and creatures from blue and black interaction for the turn. Its effect prevents blue and black spells from countering your spells and from targeting creatures you control that turn, but it does not stop abilities or protect against non-blue/black sources. The card’s low cost and narrow-but-powerful protections make it useful in matchups heavy with blue or black control and targeted removal.
