Redirect (M11-71) is a blue instant from the Magic 2011 core set that costs two mana. Its effect lets you choose new targets for target spell, allowing you to redirect spells that target permanents, players, or other spells when legal targets exist. It can serve as disruption, protection for your permanents, or a way to turn opponents’ removal or targeted utility spells against their intended targets.
