Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound (ECL-290) is a legendary double-faced creature that transforms between a red Elemental Sorcerer and a blue Elemental Wizard. The front face lets you discard to draw when it enters or transforms and can be transformed into the back face by paying {U} at the start of your first main phase, while the back face generates two mana of any one color usable only for casting spells with mana value 4 or greater and can be transformed back by paying {R} at that same phase. Its transform and mana-granting effects support midrange or ramp strategies that want to enable casting larger spells.
