Basalt Monolith (LEB 232) is an Artifact. It does not untap during your untap step but can be tapped to add three colorless mana and has a paid ability that untaps it for three generic mana. Players use it as a mana-engine or combo piece because repeated untaps can generate very large or potentially infinite amounts of mana when paired with other interactions.
