It must attack each combat if able and gains a +1/+1 counter on each upkeep, then forces you to either pay an escalating X cost or have it tap and deal X damage to you. It begins as a 1/1 and can grow into a larger, high-risk attacker while imposing an accelerating self-tax that shapes aggressive or combo strategies.
