North Star (LEG 288) is a rare artifact from the Legends expansion. It can be activated for {4} and tapped to allow you to spend mana as though it were any color for one spell that turn, effectively fixing color requirements for that spell. This makes it useful in multicolored decks that need temporary colorless-to-colored conversion or for enabling off-color plays.
