Rite of the Serpent (KTK 86, foil) is a black sorcery from Khans of Tarkir. It destroys a target creature and, if that creature had a +1/+1 counter on it when destroyed, creates a 1/1 green Snake creature token. The effect can produce the token regardless of who controlled the destroyed creature and will never create more than one token even if multiple counters were present.
