Hardened Scales (PKTK-133p) is a green enchantment from the Khans of Tarkir promos that modifies +1/+1 counter placement. It replaces any event that would put one or more +1/+1 counters on a creature you control with that many plus one instead. It is commonly used to amplify counter synergies and improves the output of creatures or effects that grant +1/+1 counters.
