Armguard Familiar (NEO-46, foil) is an Artifact Creature — Equipment Beast from Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. It has ward {2}, and its reconfigure ability lets you attach it as an Equipment to grant the equipped creature +2/+1 and ward {2}. When attached it stops being a creature so it serves as a detachable piece of equipment to protect and buff a creature or act as a small evasive creature on its own.
