It can tap for white mana and has Channel — pay 2W and discard it to deal 4 damage to an attacking or blocking creature, reduced by 1 colorless for each legendary creature you control. The Channel ability makes it useful both as mana and as a one-shot removal option in decks that can discard or otherwise leverage modal cards.
