Counter target spell. Choose 1, 2, or 3 at random. Its controller mills that many cards, then exiles cards from the top of their library until they exile a nonland card with a different name than that spell. They may cast that card without paying its mana cost. Then they put the exiled cards on the bottom of their library in a random order.

Tibalt's Trickery (KHM 360, Rare) is a red instant from Kaldheim. It counters a target spell and then makes that spell’s controller mill 1–3 at random and exile cards from their library until they hit a nonland card with a different name, which they may cast without paying its mana cost. The effect can dramatically swing tempo by both stopping a play and potentially replacing it with a random alternate spell from the opponent’s deck.
