It replaces an opponent’s nontoken creature’s death with exiling it and putting an ice counter on it, and lets you cast spells from among opponent-owned cards in exile with ice counters using snow mana as any color. The card’s static exile-and-cast interaction can repeatedly generate value by enabling access to opponents’ exiled cards and synergizes with snow mana sources in your deck.
