Madcap Experiment (PKLD 122s foil) is a red sorcery from the Kaladesh Promos set. It reveals cards from the top of your library until an artifact is revealed, puts that artifact onto the battlefield, and puts the remaining revealed cards on the bottom of your library in a random order while dealing damage to you equal to the number of cards revealed. The effect enables explosive artifact-based plays at the cost of potentially large self-damage, making it a high-risk tutor for artifact-centric decks.
