It lets you play lands and cast Insect spells from your graveyard and mills two cards whenever another Insect you control dies after putting that creature on the bottom of its owner's library. It can also pump an Insect for {1}{B/G} to give +1/+0 and deathtouch until end of turn, supporting aggressive trades and graveyard recursion.
