Cruel Feeding (JOU 64) is a black Instant from the Journey into Nyx expansion that uses the Strive mechanic. It gives any number of target creatures +1/+0 and lifelink until end of turn, with an additional {2}{B} required for each target beyond the first. The spell scales from single-target pump to a multi-target buff depending on how much extra mana you pay.
