The front exiles the top card of your library at each upkeep and lets you cast that nonland card that turn, and it transforms into the land when you cast your third spell in a turn. The back taps for red mana or can pay 2R and tap to deal 3 damage to any target, providing a mana sink and direct removal/damage option after transformation.
