Pledge of Loyalty (INV-24) is a white Enchantment — Aura from the Invasion expansion. It enchants a creature and grants that creature protection from the colors of permanents you control, and that protection explicitly doesn't cause the Aura to be removed. That self-directed protection can prevent your own colored permanents from targeting or affecting the enchanted creature, creating unusual defensive or combo synergies.
