Desperate Research (INV 100, Rare, Foil) is a black sorcery from Invasion. It lets you name a nonbasic land card, reveal the top seven cards of your library, put all revealed cards with that name into your hand, and exile the rest. The effect provides a tutor-like draw-at-random limitation that can convert variance into card advantage when your deck is built to support the named card.
