Whenever one or more creatures you control attack, each defending player divides all creatures without flying they control into a "left" pile and a "right" pile. Then, for each attacking creature you control, choose "left" or "right." That creature can't be blocked this combat except by creatures with flying and creatures in a pile with the chosen label.

Raging River (CEI-169) is a red enchantment from the International Collectors' Edition. Its triggered ability, when one or more creatures you control attack, forces each defending player to split their nonflying creatures into left and right piles and then lets you choose a pile for each attacker, preventing blocks except by flyers and creatures in the chosen pile. This effect can shape combat by limiting which ground creatures can block your attackers and interacts with creatures that enter the battlefield or become creatures after the ability resolves according to official rulings.
