Thing in the Ice // Awoken Horror (INR 460) is a two-faced creature from Innistrad Remastered that enters as Thing in the Ice with four ice counters and defender. Casting instants or sorceries removes ice counters and when the last is removed by that triggered ability it transforms into Awoken Horror, which is a large Kraken Horror that returns all non-Horror creatures to their owners' hands when it enters. The card functions as a tempo swing piece in blue decks, enabling board clears and bounce effects while providing a threat once transformed.
