Thing in the Ice // Awoken Horror (INR-460 foil) is a blue transform creature from Innistrad Remastered that enters the battlefield with four ice counters and defender. Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery you remove an ice counter and, if none remain, it transforms into Awoken Horror which has a large power/toughness and an ETB trigger that returns all non-Horror creatures to their owners' hands. The transformed Awoken Horror’s return trigger resolves before the spell that removed the last counter, creating potential tempo swings and mass bounce effects.
