Collective Brutality (INR-308) is a black sorcery from the Innistrad Remastered set that uses the Escalate mechanic. It lets you choose one or more modes—making an opponent reveal and discard an instant or sorcery from hand, giving a creature -2/-2 until end of turn, or causing an opponent to lose 2 life while you gain 2 life—paying the discard escalate cost for each mode beyond the first. Its flexible modal design supports hand disruption, creature removal or small life-swing effects depending on what a deck needs in a given situation.
