When it dies it returns to the battlefield transformed attached to a target opponent’s creature or planeswalker as the Aura Strangling Grasp. As Strangling Grasp it enchants an opponent’s permanent and forces that permanent’s controller to sacrifice a nonland each upkeep and lose 1 life, presenting a recurring attrition effect.
