Its power equals the number of card types among cards in your graveyard and its toughness equals that number plus one, and at each of your end steps it creates a green Ooze token with the same characteristic-defining power/toughness calculation. The card's defining ability applies in all zones, so it counts card types in graveyards even when not on the battlefield, and its power/toughness changes as card types enter or leave graveyards.
