Tavern Ruffian // Tavern Smasher (DBL-163 foil) is a red double-faced creature from the Innistrad: Double Feature set that transforms between a 2/5 front face and a 6/5 back face. It uses the Daybound/Nightbound mechanic so its face depends on whether the game is currently day or night and will transform when that designation changes. As a common creature with changing power it serves as a flexible midrange threat that becomes stronger at night.
