It deals 4 damage to that creature and then creates Blood artifact tokens equal to any excess damage dealt, each of which can be sacrificed with a cost to draw a card. The card supports graveyard or sacrifice synergies by producing expendable artifact tokens and can generate card advantage if the target is overkilled.
