Panicked Bystander // Cackling Culprit (VOW-28) is an uncommon double-faced creature from Innistrad: Crimson Vow that transforms when its front side's life-gain condition is met. The front side, Panicked Bystander, gives you life whenever a creature you control dies and transforms at your end step if you gained three or more life that turn. The back side, Cackling Culprit, keeps the life-gain trigger and can pay {1}{B} to grant itself deathtouch until end of turn, changing its board role from defensive lifegain to a removal threat.
