Biolume Egg // Biolume Serpent (VOW 49) is a blue double-faced creature card that begins as a Defender Egg which scries when it enters the battlefield. The front face can be sacrificed to return it transformed at the next end step, and the back face is a 4/4 Serpent with an activated ability that lets you pay by sacrificing two Islands to make it unblockable that turn. The card functions as a tempo and evasive threat that can set up later transformation while providing early board presence and a way to push damage once transformed.
