Investigator's Journal is a colorless artifact with the Clue subtype that enters the battlefield carrying a number of suspect counters equal to the greatest number of creatures any player controls. You can pay two and tap to remove a suspect counter and draw a card, or pay two and sacrifice the artifact to draw a card, providing repeatable card selection. The card supports engine plays that scale with board states and offers a tradeoff between incremental draws and a final one-time payoff.
