Gyruda, Doom of Depths (PIKO-221p) is a Legendary Creature — Demon Kraken from the Ikoria promos; it has the Companion ability restricting your starting deck to cards with even mana values. When it enters the battlefield it causes each player to mill four cards and lets you put a milled creature card with an even mana value onto the battlefield under your control. Its role is as a midrange value engine that leverages milling to cheat creatures into play and enforces an even-cost deckbuilding restriction when used as a companion.
