Mana Drain (IMA 65) is a mythic blue instant reprinted in Iconic Masters that counters a target spell. Its delayed triggered ability adds colorless mana equal to the countered spell's mana value at the beginning of your next main phase. Players commonly use it as both removal of a threat and a tempo swing by generating mana to cast larger spells on the following main phase.
