Ice Cauldron (ICE-321) is a rare artifact from the Ice Age set that can exile nonland cards from your hand and allow you to cast them while exiled. It has an X-cost activation that stores the type and amount of mana spent as a charge counter, and a tap ability to remove that counter and produce the noted mana usable only to cast the last card exiled with the Cauldron. As a deck card it serves as a tempo tool and a way to prepay or reserve mana for a future cast while effectively functioning as a single-use storage and casting engine.
