If the creature would leave the battlefield, exile it instead of putting it anywhere else. Dreams of the Dead (ICE-66) is an Enchantment from the Ice Age set. For {1}{U} it returns a white or black creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield but gives that creature cumulative upkeep {2} and replaces any zone change by exiling it instead. The card enables graveyard recursion at the cost of a ticking cumulative upkeep that will eventually force sacrifice unless the upkeep is paid.
