It can tap for colorless mana, exile a creature you control for two mana, and later return creatures exiled with it by paying four mana, tapping, and sacrificing the land. The card supports recursion and protection interactions by temporarily removing creatures from the battlefield and later bringing those creature cards back under their owners' control.
