It strips all creatures the enchanted player controls of abilities and sets their base power and toughness to 1/1 while also preventing that player from activating non-mana, non-loyalty activated abilities. Its disruptive effect can shut down many creature-based synergies and activated-effects-dependent engines, making it a powerful political or lock piece in multiplayer or control decks.
