Leeches (HML-9) is a rare white sorcery from the Homelands set. When cast, it causes a target player to lose all poison counters and then deals that much damage to them. The card exchanges persistent poison counters for immediate life loss, enabling an alternate route to reduce an opponent’s life total or finish a game that involves poison.
