It can repeatedly exile a single card from a graveyard for {2} and T, and by paying {2}{W}{B}, tapping and sacrificing it you exile a chosen nonland card from a graveyard plus all cards and permanents sharing that name. The card functions as graveyard hate and a one-shot mass-name exile effect useful against recursive threats or copies.
