Maelstrom Pulse (PGPX-2011 foil) is a rare black-green sorcery from the Grand Prix Promos series. When it resolves it destroys a target nonland permanent and then destroys all other permanents that share that permanent's name, removing copies even if they have hexproof or protection. It serves as broad name-based removal and is commonly used to handle token swarms or recurring named threats in decks that can cast it.
