It has Deathtouch and a Bloodrush ability: for G and discarding it you can give an attacking creature +1/+2 and deathtouch until end of turn. As a cheap blocker or a combat trick via Bloodrush, it can trade favorably with larger threats or enhance an attacker to trade through blockers.
