Stasis (4ED-104) is a blue enchantment from Fourth Edition that severely restricts the untap step. It causes players to skip their untap steps and requires its controller to pay {U} each upkeep or sacrifice it, creating a recurring tax to maintain its lock. Decks use it as a control piece to slow opponents and buy time while protecting a narrow resource requirement for the controller.
