Vanguard Seraph (FDN-28) is a common white Creature — Angel Warrior from the Foundations set. It has flying and a triggered surveil ability that triggers the first time you gain life each turn, letting you look at and optionally put the top card of your library into your graveyard. Its role is as a small evasive body that provides incremental card selection and graveyard setup when you gain life.
