It lets you sacrifice creatures with {1}, {T} to draw a card and add a soul counter, and can later be sacrificed with {4}, {T} to deal damage to each opponent equal to its soul counters. The card supports graveyard or token sacrifice strategies by converting creature sacrifices into card advantage and incremental life-loss finishes.
