Kellan, Planar Trailblazer (FDN-330 foil) is a Legendary Creature — currently printed as a 1/1 Human Faerie Scout from the Foundations set. It has two activated modal abilities that, when resolved, overwrite its creature types and change its printed characteristics: one mode (for {1}{R}) turns it into a Human Faerie Detective and grants a replaceable exile-and-play-once-once effect after it deals combat damage to a player, while the other mode (for {2}{R}) makes it a 3/2 Human Faerie Rogue and gives it double strike. These changes persist until the creature leaves the battlefield or another effect replaces them, and each ability only has an effect if Kellan has the required creature type when that ability resolves.
