Fake Your Own Death (FDN 174, foil) is a black instant from Foundations that targets a creature and grants a temporary buff and a death-trigger replacement effect. Until end of turn the creature gets +2/+0 and gains "When this creature dies, return it to the battlefield tapped under its owner's control and you create a Treasure token." This creates resilience by immediately attempting to recur the creature on death while also generating a Treasure token for additional mana or sacrifice value. Debuted in the Foundations core set as a common instant.
