Whenever any player taps a land for mana, Manabarbs triggers and deals 1 damage to that player, potentially generating multiple separate triggers if multiple lands are tapped. This card can act as a tax or soft lockdown in aggressive or damage-focused decks by discouraging large mana accelerations and hurting opponents (and sometimes its controller) for tapping lands.
