The Saga advances through four chapters that allow up to two destructions of nonland permanents, then draws two cards, and finally becomes a 9/9 flying creature that deals damage to each opponent equal to the total mana value of your other permanents. With its very high casting cost and layered effects, it functions primarily as a late-game board-control finisher.
