Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant // Phoenix, Warden of Fire is a legendary double-faced card from the Final Fantasy set that starts as a Human Noble Wizard creature and can transform into a Phoenix saga creature-enchantment. When Joshua enters, you may discard up to two cards and draw that many, and you can pay {3}{R}{W} and tap to exile and immediately return it transformed; the Phoenix side deals incremental damage to opponents and eventually returns creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. The transformed Phoenix has flying and lifelink and provides a late-game recursion engine by returning any number of creature cards with total mana value 6 or less to the battlefield on its final chapter.
