He can't be blocked by creatures with greater power and has a Mug ability that mills each player on attack, potentially creating a Treasure token and allowing casting of milled nonland spells until end of turn. In deck construction he functions as a black-red aggressive value engine that generates card advantage and resource acceleration through milling and Treasures.
