Hardened Scales (FIC-307 foil) is a green enchantment from the Final Fantasy Commander set that modifies how +1/+1 counters are applied. If one or more +1/+1 counters would be put on a creature you control, that many plus one counters are placed instead, and multiple copies stack to increase the bonus. It commonly serves as a multiplier in counter-focused decks by increasing growth from triggers, enters-the-battlefield counters, and proliferate effects.
