Altered Ego (FIC-317 foil) is a rare Creature — Shapeshifter from the Final Fantasy Commander set that can be cast for {X}{2}{G}{U}. It can’t be countered and may enter the battlefield as a copy of any creature already on the battlefield, coming in with X additional +1/+1 counters as specified when you cast it. As a copy it inherits printed characteristics of the chosen creature and will trigger that creature’s enter-the-battlefield abilities, but it won’t copy attached Auras/Equipment or whether the original is tapped and it can choose not to copy anything (in which case it is a 0/0).
